Reedición, por primera vez en edición digital, del primer disco CD de larga duración de Jazznoize, que tras una copiosa serie editada en diferentes netlabes españoles y extranjeros, aterrizó en el sello Luscinia Discos para publicar una "sinfonía" anómala y muy especial. Un collage sonoro a partir de la transformación total de sonidos de instrumentos tradicionales, electrónicos y artefactos, que recibió de distintos colaboradores de renombre. En Instruments procesa y ensambla breves pasajes improvisados con instrumentos musicales y voces de diversa índole, siendo su primera aproximación a la manipulación y construcción sonoras a partir de este tipo de timbres. El propio Sérgio Sánchez (Jazznoize) utiliza el clarinete, el giradiscos y una grabadora Zoom H2.
Pero los demás timbres de partida (radicalmente manipulados por Jazznoize) pertenecen a quince músicos y proyectos sonoros del ámbito de la experimentación, y de distintas generaciones y estéticas: Joan Bagés Rubí (cajas, porexpan y arcos de violín), Coro del I.E.S. Floridablanca de Murcia (dirigido por Juan Jesús Yelo), Juan Crek (voz gutural), Mark Cunningham (trompeta), Tina Gil (guitarra eléctrica), Juan Ángel Gómez (guitarra eléctrica), Andrés Jankowski (sintetizador Oberheim y Flying Alphorn), Irene La Sen (recitado), Jean Montag (bajo eléctrico), Javier Piñango (Korg MS-20), Miguel A. Ruiz (Korg KPR-77, Doepfer Modular, Vermoton, Ampliton, Prophet 2000, Eventide H3000SE, Vermona Organ ET6 y Hammond Autovari), Carlos Suárez (oboe chino y oboe tubular), Xavier Tort (trompeta), Traummaschine (guitarras Fender Bullet y Epiphone Sg Custom) y Truna (violonchelo).
Es excepcional la talla de los colaboradores reunidos, así como la propia idiosincracia en el método de trabajo compositivo: una investigación sobre todas las formas de tratamiento electrónico al alcance del autor, en busca de nuevos timbres pero también al encuentro de nuevas estructuras formales. El resultado es una suerte de gran y elegante mosaico estético, y un compendio de emociones, donde la dialéctica instrumental tiene uno de los papeles protagonistas a lo ancho de un siempre apetecible y atractivo discurso explorador.
En esta nueva edición, la única pista que aparecía en el CD ha sido dividida en dos partes, Instruments [A] e Instruments [B]; y se incluye como material extra las dos versiones cortas utilizadas para promocionar el disco. Cerrad los ojos, y disfrutad con uno de los discos experimentales de culto de la década 2010-2019.
Reissue of the legendary Jazznoize album Instruments. Recorded and produced during 2011, and published in 2012 by Luscinia Discos, with limited edition on CD (100 units) . After a copious series published in different Spanish and foreign netlabels, "Instruments" is the first Jazznoize album in physical format, Jazznoize processes and assembles brief improvised passages with musical instruments and voices of various kinds, being his first approach to sound manipulation and construction from this type of timbres.

The incredible level of the collaborators gathered, as well as the idiosyncrasy of the compositional working method, (an investigation into all the forms of electronic treatment, in search of new stamps but also to meet new formal structures), is a kind of great and elegant aesthetic mosaic, and a compendium of emotions, where the dialectic has one of the leading roles throughout an always appetizing and attractive explorer discourse.
